TEXTURE BEHIND THE BRAND
"We Just Can't Consume Our Way to a More Sustainable World"
WHAT IS TEXTURE
Texture is an innovative and inclusive hair care product line imagined by four young female entrepreneurs of color, the Dang sisters and their mother. Formulated for all hair types, with the highest quality, sustainably-sourced, all-natural ingredients, Texture is meant to nourish your hair... and your soul.
Texture celebrates the strength of diversity, the power of inclusivity, and the belief that all should have access to sustainable, toxin-free hair care products that are as kind to their hair as they are to the environment.
To create ethically-sourced, sustainable and natural hair care products for all people and hair - hair care products that respect the planet and its inhabitants.
WHY DOES TEXTURE EXIST
The world is not Black and White: hair care products shouldn't be either. We created Texture to celebrate Earth's beautiful rainbow of ethnic diversity and offer eco-friendly and sustainable haircare solutions for all regardless of age, gender or ethnicity. We understand first-hand the sometimes emotional and complex relationships we all have with our hair. Our reason for creating Texture is to make that emotional feeling about your hair one of joy and happiness.
The Best Place for Making a Difference is Right in Your Own Home.
The world has never faced the environmental challenges as we do today. These are unprecedented times which require behavior change on a mass scale to ensure a habitable world for our future generations. Consume consciously.
People of Color Face Dangerously High Levels of Pollution.
People of Color are disproportionately burdened with health hazards through practices and policies forcing them to live near sources of toxic waste such as landfills, power stations and other hazardous waste sites, and suffer greater rates of health problems.
We produce environmentally-friendly and easy to recycle products. By purchasing recyclable products, you prevent those materials from ending up in a landfill. Do your part to maintain consumer demand for recyclables by purchasing "green".
